| My step-dad Mark's memorial service was today. This is the DVD I made for the service. Even though I originally didn't think I would be able to, I got up and said some things about Mark. It was a long, sad day, but the service was really nice and I think Mark would be pleased. |

| My nephew Max turned 4 today! We took him to Dave & Buster's to play the games. He had a lot of fun, even though he only got half as many tickets as he had hoped and didn't get the hot rod he wanted. Oh well! |

| I took this mug with me on my first day back to work after Mark's death. Ironically, my mom got me the mug at the James Cancer Hospital many years ago. It describes perfectly how I felt all day long. |

| I had a hair appointment tonight. I scheduled it months ago but the timing was just perfect. It was the first time my hair had been brushed, let alone styled in a few weeks! |

| I spent all day working on the video for Mark's memorial service. Mom was sending me pictures through email and I was doing the video. |

| Mark passed away this morning. This was a fish in the tank at the hospice. It was always hiding in this shelter and looking out. Quite symbolic of how I feel like I want to crawl in a hole and get away from everyone and everything for a while. |

| Mark left the James Cancer Hospital for the very last time today and headed for the Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. |

| My step-dad, Mark, had a stroke at 4:30 a.m. this morning. Pat and I rushed to MedCentral to be with him and my mom. He was then transferred to the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. I spent Saturday night alone on this cot in the hospital room with him. I was scared to death, but tried to be brave for Mark |
